UI/UX designer

As a Junior UI/UX Designer, you will contribute to the redesign of a mobile app for a sustainable grocery company focused on healthy and fresh foods. Your role will involve creating an intuitive user interface that enhances the shopping experience for eco-conscious customers.

You will conduct user research, develop wireframes and prototypes, and collaborate with the development team to implement your designs. This project aims to improve usability while promoting a mission of healthy living and environmental responsibility, empowering customers to make better choices for themselves and the planet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Assist in creating user personas, user journey maps, and other design documentation.
• Ensure designs are aligned with brand guidelines and best practices in UI/UX design.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance design processes.

Requirements:

Total experience 1+ years

• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Marvel, or similar).
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS will be a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A portfolio showcasing your design work, including any relevant projects or internships.
