Academy App UX Redesign – Onboarding to Explore Flow (Runner-Up, CPM Product Competition)
This project was part of a product redesign challenge during my Certified Product Manager (CPM) course, where we reimagined the user onboarding flow leading to the “Explore” page of an educational app. I applied a full Design Thinking process — starting with empathy research through persona mapping and pain point discovery, followed by ideation workshops to shape a rough journey. I then designed a structured user flow and wireframes to enhance usability and engagement. Our work was selected as runner-up for effectively aligning business goals with user needs in a simplified, accessible experience.
Khoj – Digital Growth Strategy for Indian Search Engine (Hackathon Winner)
As part of a hackathon competition, I developed a full-funnel digital marketing and GTM strategy for Khoj, an Indian search engine targeting mobile users in Tier 1, 2, and 3 cities. The project focused on contextual content delivery based on user behavior and search patterns. I led the design of a phased roadmap covering positioning, RTM strategy, channel-level North Star Metrics, sales enablement, and stakeholder plans. A key highlight was our budget-linked growth forecast aiming to increase market share by 2%. The judges appreciated our sharp GTM narrative and practical execution plans.
Fora Desktop App – Product Strategy & MVP Planning (Assignment Project)
As part of an assignment for a product role at Fora, I developed a comprehensive 4-step product strategy for launching their desktop app. I began by identifying user needs using JTBD thinking, mapped these to validated outcomes through competitor and market research, and then proposed a lean MVP roadmap focused on user value. I also scoped Year 1 business goals including revenue targets, acquisition strategy, and operational risks. The project emphasized structured product thinking, prioritization, and end-to-end ownership of product discovery through to business planning.
Applying ‘Zone to Win’ for Startup Growth (Learning as well as Job Assignment Initiative)
As part of a recent self-initiated learning project and as an opportunity to woo the founders, I applied Geoffrey Moore’s Zone to Win framework to Blindmate, a friend-endorsed dating app. The goal was to identify where Blindmate should focus next by mapping core business efforts across four essential zones — performance, productivity, incubation, and transformation. I analyzed current initiatives, surfaced new opportunity areas, designed focused solutions, and grouped them by impact and horizon. This approach helps align the team around near-term growth, medium-term innovation, and future disruption, all without spreading too thin.
