ScanSafe – Secure Document Scanner & PDF Manager ScanSafe is a privacy-focused Android document scanner application built using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. The app allows users to scan documents, convert them into PDFs, perform OCR text recognition, and securely manage files with biometric protection. Key features: • Integrated ML Kit Document Scanner for high-quality document scanning and automatic PDF generation • Implemented OCR text extraction using ML Kit Text Recognition • Developed a local PDF storage system using internal app storage for offline-first document management • Built a modern UI using Jetpack Compose with onboarding, dashboard, and file management screens • Implemented PDF preview, rename, delete, watermarking, and sharing functionality • Added biometric authentication using Android Biometric APIs to protect document access • Enabled note attachment and document organization features Project Status: Currently under active development. Core document scanning, PDF management, and OCR functionality are implemented, while advanced security and vault features are being expanded.

Developed a system utility Android application that remaps hardware volume buttons to perform device power actions. Developed and launched a full-featured VPN application for Android using Kotlin and MVVM architecture.
