Designed and implemented a scalable system consisting of 5 independent FastAPI services (Auth, Device Management, Data Processing, Automation). Built an asynchronous MQTT ingestion engine using Mosquitto to process real-time sensor streams into InfluxDB. Developed a custom event-driven rule engine for automated irrigation workflows based on soil moisture thresholds. Implemented a multi-tier security model combining JWT-based authentication , Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) , and Access Control Lists (ACLs) to manage granular permissions Containerized the full stack (PostgreSQL, Redis, InfluxDB, MQTT) using Docker Compose for seamless deployment.
