Руслан Вишталмагомедов

Специализация: Golang Backend Developer
Backend developer with some CI/CD / DevOps experience: device-management and HTTP/MQTT services in Go, Python for telemetry pipelines, delivery on Docker and Kubernetes. Most of my work has started with existing codebase - internal test frameworks, open-source ESP32 firmware, vendor-patched kernels, RPM packages owned by other maintainers - and getting productive in it quickly is the part I am strongest at. I learn the stack a project actually uses and extend it, picking up whatever languages and tools the task needs (Go, Python, C/C++, ESP-IDF, PlatformIO, Ansible).

Опыт работы

Software Developer (Test Tools Development Department)
01.2026 - 08.2026 |YADRO
Go, Gorilla/Mux, Python, C++, ESP-IDF, PlatformIO, Modbus TCP, MQTT, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, Zigbee2MQTT, Pandas, Polars
Built Go and Python services for server-room hardware: device management over HTTP and MQTT, a Modbus telemetry pipeline, and extensions to third-party firmware. Most of it landed inside frameworks and repositories I had not written. ● Device Management Service (Go): wrote a Golang web service on Gorilla/Mux that centralizes display configuration over HTTP and MQTT. Handles device discovery through DHCP MAC tables, config provisioning from JSON templates, remote firmware flashes, OTA requests, reboots, and factory resets. (Go, Gorilla/Mux, REST, JSON, MQTT) ● Server Room Power Monitoring: built an end-to-end telemetry pipeline - Modbus TCP metrics from a WirenBoard multi-channel power meter, a Python service streaming live values to MQTT and Grafana, Kubernetes for deployment, and metrics rendered directly on clock displays next to the racks. (Python, Modbus TCP, MQTT, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana) ● Awtrix3 firmware (C++, ESP-IDF): learned the open-source firmware behind those displays and extended it for WPA-Enterprise (WPA-EAP) networks, richer message formatting, and custom OTA update servers. Set up tag-triggered CI builds with PlatformIO and Python. (C++, ESP-IDF, Arduino-ESP32, PlatformIO, Python) ● MDIO Validation Module (Python): added a module to an internal test automation framework I had just joined - parsing Saleae Logic2 CSV dumps, decoding frames, and checking compliance against the official MDIO specification. (Python, Pandas, Polars, Saleae Logic2 Automation API, Matplotlib) ● Automated Power Testbed: deployed a Zigbee2MQTT rig of smart plugs, buttons, and dongles to measure laptop power consumption for Kvadra, driven by Python scripts and a small web interface for manual runs. (Python, Zigbee2MQTT, MQTT) ● Engineering process: issues in Jira, technical specs in Confluence, history in Bitbucket, CI/CD on Jenkins and Artifactory; Conventional Commits and SemVer throughout.
Commodity Verification Engineer
09.2025 - 12.2025 |YADRO
Bash, Python, Linux, Redfish API, DHCP, PXE, NetworkManager, Grafana, tmux, zellij, Confluence, Jira
Validated server hardware and BMC/BIOS telemetry and automated the stress-test infrastructure around it, in a vendor stack where most of the kernels, images, and code were maintained by other teams. ● Automated stress testing: Bash and Python tools to drive test runs, parse logs, and analyze metrics across many targets, cutting execution time and manual error. ● Kernels and drivers: rebuilt Linux with vendor patches for hardware validation and traced driver, module, and hardware-level failures in code I had not written. ● BMC/BIOS telemetry: tested microcode and pulled hardware telemetry over Redfish APIs, validating remote management workflows. ● Component verification: exercised CPUs, GPUs, PSUs, RAM, SAS/NVMe, and NICs under functional and stress loads across custom target configurations. ● Test infrastructure: configured DHCP, PXE, NetworkManager, and Grafana alongside DevOps to refine target PXE images. ● Multi-target debugging: kept parallel remote test and debug sessions alive across server targets with tmux and zellij over unstable SSH; documented workflows in Confluence and coordinated Jira work across DevOps, BIOS/BMC, and MFQA.
QA / Test Engineer
01.2025 - 07.2025 |ALT Linux (BaseALT)
RPM, rpmbuild, Bash, Python, Ansible, QEMU, Proxmox, Docker, Redmine, GRUB, systemd
QA for ALT Linux releases and RPM packages across six editions, including taking ownership of build failures in packages maintained by other people. ● Fixed packaging bugs owned by others: diagnosed build failures and repaired spec files with rpmbuild inside internal build environments, working directly with the package maintainers through Redmine. ● Verified package integrity: installation, dependency graphs, backward compatibility, regressions, and compliance with distribution standards. ● Ran concurrent test suites across 6 editions (Workstation, KWorkstation, Server, and others) to surface architecture- and edition-specific bugs before release. ● Boot and subsystem validation: system images over CD/DVD, USB, and PXE; core subsystems (GRUB, systemd, drivers) plus stress tests. ● Mixed test targets: physical hardware (PCs, laptops, tablets, all-in-ones) and virtual environments (QEMU, Proxmox, Docker), with Bash, Python, and Ansible for environment deployment.
QA / Quality Control Specialist
05.2023 - 10.2023 |A3F Group (Marketcall)
Google Sheets
Quality control for marketing campaigns and advertiser compliance on the Marketcall platform. ● Monitored marketing campaigns, audited English call logs, and monitored advertiser compliance on the Marketcall platform. ● Automated conversion tracking processes and created consolidated reports in Google Sheets; handled advertiser partnership escalations.
System Administrator / Web Admin
05.2023 - 06.2023 |Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives
Managed portal operations and system workflows for grant applications. ● Managed portal operations, configured system workflows for grant applications, handled tier-2 customer support tickets, and worked alongside backend support teams.
Apple Technical Support (Tier 2)
01.2022 - 10.2022 |Teleperformance Russia Group
iOS, macOS, watchOS, iCloud
Tier-2 technical support for Apple products, debugging a closed system from the outside and collaborating with global engineering teams. ● Reproduced and isolated complex OS-level bugs across iOS, macOS, watchOS, and iCloud by reading logs and system state rather than source code. ● Collaborated with global engineering teams in English via chat and phone to drive root-cause analysis, leading to upstream fixes in subsequent macOS updates.
