Entry-Level QA Intern – Manual Software Testing

Оплата: По договоренности

An established, fast-growing software product company (serving finance, healthcare, and e-commerce clients nationwide) believes reliable code is non-negotiable. The QA group partners with engineering, product, and UX to protect end-user trust—every release, every sprint.

What You Will Do

- Execute exploratory and regression test cases across web and mobile applications.

- Identify, isolate, and clearly record defects with steps to reproduce, screenshots, and logs.

- Verify bug fixes in continuous deployment pipelines and update ticket status promptly.

- Maintain organized, up-to-date test suites and run reports that pinpoint risk areas.

- Pair with senior QA engineers to design new test charters, data sets, and edge scenarios.

- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint retrospectives—your voice counts.

- Research emerging testing tools, propose improvements, and document lessons learned.

- Champion the end user; escalate usability concerns before they reach production.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related STEM field completed within the last two years.

- Solid grasp of software development life cycle and agile ceremonies.

- Coursework or project experience performing manual testing on web or mobile apps.

- Fluent with issue-tracking software (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar).

- Meticulous attention to detail; you notice the pixel that’s one shade off.

- Clear, concise written communication—bug reports read like mini stories.

- Analytical mindset; you ask “what else could break if we change this?”

- Authorization to work in the United States.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have, Not Deal-Breakers)

- Familiarity with SQL for basic data validation.

- Exposure to API clients such as Postman or Insomnia.

- Basic scripting in Python, JavaScript, or Bash.

- Experience with accessibility testing or WCAG guidelines.

- ISTQB Foundation certification or similar coursework.
