Junior Data Analyst / BI Consultant

We're in a lookout for an ambitious Data analyst / BI consultant for the project in ESG Data Infrastructure and Sustainability Applications sector. The service is requested as part of the sustainability projects. The purpose of it is to determine the data required to calculate the sustainability KPIs and deliver it to the sustainability applications, as well as to support the creation of reports with Power BI.

In this role you will be setting up jobs for data pipelines for transactional and master data of all data elements relevant for sustainability packaging, raw materials, finished products and plant data. Company provides all necessary products, information, contact information, documents, system access and all other requirements in advance.

Tasks:

• Visiting team meetings in Agile method, the team discusses the current requirements iteratively in sprint meetings.
• Develop pipelines that regularly deliver data to the plastic plan application.
• Coordination of data pipelines; you'll will have access to the data in the company's Data platform in advance
• Testing of data processing according to project requirements.

Execution of tests:

• Data Validation, whether the delivered data corresponds to the source data, whether the jobs run regularly as planned. Test until both criteria are met.
• Development of data conversion and aggregations with Python in Data Bricks; master data and transactional data are already defined in the project.
• Programming of data pipelines in the company's Data platform in the Azure Cloud. Requirements are already defined in the project, data is already prepared, your task is to deliver this data to the endpoint and schedule the jobs.
• Testing of Data Pipelines, whether the delivered data corresponds to the source data.

Requirements:

Total experience 3+ year

• Experience in certain data modelling.
• Knowledge of SAP modules for Material Master Data, as well as EHS modules for packaging, raw materials and Chemicals specifications. (Basic knowledge of SAP modules MM and EHS)
• Python programming in Databricks.
• Data comprehension and modelling skills.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI.
• Chemistry background (understanding of chemical substances).
• Experience in projects with manufacturing industry clients.
• Special software applications: Databricks, Azure Cloud environment, Power-BI, Power-apps.
• Qualifications: Microsoft certificates related to Azure and Databricks.
• English proficiency, German will be a plus.
