Key Responsibilities  

- Explore raw data, surface trends, and craft concise narratives that guide tactical decisions.  

- Develop and maintain automated reports in SQL and Excel—accuracy first.  

- Design clear, interactive Tableau/Power BI dashboards that illuminate KPIs for non-technical partners.  

- Monitor data pipelines; troubleshoot anomalies before they ripple through the business.  

- Partner with product, finance, and marketing teams to frame new questions—and answer them with evidence.  

- Document methodology, assumptions, and code so future analysts ramp up swiftly.  

- Continuously refine data models, adopting best practices in normalization, indexing, and query performance.  

- Stay curious: evaluate emerging analytics tools (dbt, Looker, Python notebooks) and recommend adoption where valuable.  

Requirements  

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field.  

- Solid grasp of SQL; you write nested CTEs without breaking a sweat.  

- Excel power-user (pivots, Power Query, array formulas).  

- Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI—publishing dashboards is second nature.  

- Fundamental understanding of statistical concepts (means, regressions, A/B testing basics).  

- Sharp verbal and written communication; you translate insights for executives just as easily as for engineers.  

- Relentless attention to detail, paired with the ability to prioritize when everything feels urgent.  

- Growth mindset: eagerness to learn Python, R, or cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake).
