Junior Motion Designer – Remote Animation & Motion Graphics Job

What You’ll Do
- Animate style frames, text treatments, iconography, and UI elements for 2D/2.5D videos and micro-interactions.
- Revise storyboards and timing based on real-time feedback from art directors and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with copy, sound, and development teams to sync motion with audio, branding, and code.
- Optimize exports for major platforms—YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, landing pages—to ensure crisp playback and minimal load.
- Maintain an organized motion asset library (templates, rigs, scripts) and document naming conventions.
- Research emerging animation trends, plug-ins, and tools… then present bite-sized demos to the team.
- Support pre-production by brainstorming concepts, mood boards, and animatics during creative sprints.
- Continuously refine workflows through scripting, expressions, and render-queue automation.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Animation, Digital Media, or related field.
- 0-2 years’ professional experience or a portfolio packed with university/personal projects demonstrating solid principles.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects—including graph editor, 3D layers, and expressions—plus familiarity with Premiere Pro and Illustrator.
- Basic understanding of frame-rate, codecs, alpha channels, and color profiles.
- Keen eye for timing, easing, and visual rhythm; you instinctively spot a one-frame misalignment.
- Clear, inclusive communication skills and the confidence to defend creative choices.
- Adaptability: you switch styles—from sleek fintech UI motion to playful gaming loops—without breaking stride.
- Bonus points for knowledge of Figma prototypes, Cinema 4D, or Lottie JSON workflows.
