Junior PHP Developer

Project Description:

• Client solutions – automation and integration platforms for large government and commercial organizations, as well as branded websites.
• In-house products – we’ve developed three AI-powered services, one of which has 1.3 million monthly users from 220+ countries.

Our expectations from a candidate:

• Experience with PHP and the Laravel Framework or a strong willingness to learn it quickly.
• At least 1 year of experience in web development (including academic and personal projects).

Key skills:

PHP frameworks

• Basic understanding of PHP frameworks (Bitrix, Laravel, Symfony, etc.).
• Familiarity with the MVC concept and its application.
• Knowledge of form handling, validation, and data processing.

Databases

• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
• Basic SQL knowledge and ability to write simple queries.
• Experience working with database migrations.

Backend Development

• Solid knowledge of PHP 8.1+ and fundamental OOP principles.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic client-server interaction.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms.

DevOps & Tools

• Basic experience with Git and repository management.
• Familiarity with Linux command-line basics for application deployment.

Your Responsibilities

• Developing and improving backend logic and functionality.
• Writing REST APIs and supporting enterprise projects & high-load startups.
• 90%+ of the work will be on Bitrix Framework.
• Collaborating with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and QA testers.
