Junior QA Test Analyst – Entry-Level Software Tester

What You’ll Do  

- Analyze business and technical requirements — translate them into clear acceptance criteria.  

- Design and maintain thorough manual test cases, charters, and data sets.  

- Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory tests across browsers, devices, and environments.  

- Log reproducible defects in Jira with crisp steps, screenshots, and impact statements.  

- Verify hotfixes and new features in CI/CD pipelines before production deploys.  

- Pair with developers during sprint grooming to surface edge cases early.  

- Track coverage metrics, suggest risk-based adjustments, and champion quality during retrospectives.  

- Continuously absorb modern testing techniques, automation basics, and domain knowledge.

What You Bring  

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.  

- Foundational understanding of SDLC, Agile, and QA methodologies.  

- Ability to craft clear test cases from user stories and wireframes.  

- Meticulous eye for detail—nothing slips past you.  

- Solid problem-solving and analytical reasoning.  

- Effective spoken and written communication; you explain defects without blame.  

- Familiarity with at least one defect-tracking tool (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).  

- Comfort using SQL for simple data validation and REST clients such as Postman.  

- Desire to learn automation with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.  

- Eligibility to work full-time in the United States.
