Junior Team Lead – Entry-Level Team Leadership in Tech

What You Will Do
- Coordinate day-to-day sprint schedules, refine task priorities, and keep Kanban boards up to date.
- Track performance metrics—velocity, cycle time, defect rate—and surface insights during stand-ups.
- Identify roadblocks early; activate problem-solving sessions that transform obstacles into learning moments.
- Maintain concise progress records, dashboards, and retrospectives that empower data-driven decisions.
- Communicate crisp status updates to stakeholders, translating technical jargon into clear business value.
- Mentor peers on collaboration, time-boxing, documentation hygiene, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with senior leadership to align team goals with quarterly OKRs, revenue targets, and customer feedback loops.
- Foster an inclusive, psychologically safe environment where creativity—and healthy debate—flourish.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline.
- 0-2 years’ experience coordinating software or digital projects (internships count).
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Lean—maybe you earned a Scrum Master badge, maybe you devoured the guide.
- Working knowledge of Jira, Trello, Asana, or their cousins.
- Comfort interpreting basic analytics: burndown charts, cumulative flow, Net Promoter Score.
- Articulate communicator—spoken, written, and visual (think slide decks, Miro boards, Loom videos).
- Sharp organizational sense; you balance multiple work streams without losing sight of the North Star.
- Empathy, humility, and curiosity—leadership isn’t a title, it’s a service mindset.
