Junior UX Experience Designer
You will support a cross-functional product squad that ships consumer-grade applications in e-commerce, healthcare, and fintech. Projects shift quickly; you’ll jump from sketching low-fidelity wireframes to refining motion interactions, always grounding decisions in user data.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Translate product briefs into user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Conduct rapid guerrilla testing—synthesize feedback into actionable design iterations.
- Maintain a scalable design system; ensure visual consistency across devices.
- Document interaction patterns, edge cases, and accessibility states.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and senior designers during agile sprints.
- Present concepts with persuasive storytelling; defend choices with research.
- Track usability metrics post-launch and recommend continuous improvements.
Must-Have Skills
- 0-2 years of hands-on UX design experience or relevant internships.
- Proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto-layout) and Sketch.
- Familiarity with usability testing methods, heuristic evaluation, and A/B testing.
- Fundamental knowledge of information architecture and responsive design.
- Strong written and verbal communication—explain complex ideas clearly.
- Detail-oriented mindset; you notice 1-pixel misalignments.
Nice-to-Have Extras
- Exposure to HTML, CSS, or React component libraries.
- Understanding of WCAG guidelines and inclusive design principles.
- Interest in motion design using Principle or After Effects.
- Experience with Miro, Maze, or similar research platforms.
